Bioplastics, vegetable meat, Space Economy: these are MAIN’s next challenges

The MAIN Investment Committee almost full during the meeting of 19 December 2018 at the Senate Hall of the University of Milan Bicocca

Management Innovation closes an extraordinary 2018 with a capital increase underway that is going well beyond expectations.

By January 2019 we will collect € 400K which will bring the company’s value to € 2.7m.

What will we do with the capital raised?

Well, we are launching other great initiatives related to Green Innovation.

In the recent meeting of the MAIN Investment Committee held on December 19th at the Senate Hall of the University of Milan Bicocca, we listened to Professors Danilo Porro, Paola Branduardi and Adele Sassella who intervened about Bioplastics and about the opportunity to develop the company Galatea Bio Tech Srl, a spin-off of the Bicocca University with a very important set of patents.

Afterwards, Giuseppe Scionti, researcher at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona, presented his company NovaMeat, which we dealt with in issue 30 of MAIN. We are dealing with Giuseppe to understand how to start a partnership with a reality belonging to the food innovation sector.

Finally Mattia Barbarossa, a very young researcher (he is not yet 18), already awarded by the European and Indian Space Agency for various aerospace projects, presented the project Sidereus Space Dynamics, a company that we will establish in the coming weeks and that will bring MAIN into the Space Economy sector.

A year full of work and satisfaction is ending, but we are about to start an even more intense new year that will see Management Innovation projected in the most different sectors of innovation!

Follow us, there will be a lot going on!
