The University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT) inaugurated its Academic Year with: a new system which introduces merit in determining the University fees, a new Master’s degree in Languages for Intercultural Mediation and Teaching and a new specialization in International Management within the Master’s degree in Economy.

The University, known principally in an international context for the professional quality of the Faculty for Interpretation and Translation, has increased the didactic offer promoting new opportunities both for Language Studies and for Social and Economic Sciences.

The Inauguration of the Academic Year 2016/2017, which this year coincides with the celebrations of 20 years since the University was founded, is characterized by:

  • The activation of two new Study Curricula for those who enroll in the Master’s Degree Course in International Economics and Management: one Management and Company Consultancy and another one in International Relations.

  • The activation of a new Master’s Degree Course in Languages for Intercultural Mediation and Teaching, alongside the traditional three year and masters courses in Languages for Interpretation and Translation.

  • The introduction of a new criteria for the annual course fees based on objective criteria and transparency so as to reward merit.

Lastly, the quality of stage and placement services offered by UNINT is a testimony of the high percentage of students in employment at a year from completion of their Three Year Degree – 53% – and of the Master’s Degree – 70%, respectively 12% and 14% higher than the national average (Source Almalaurea, 2015).

UNINT is the historical quarter of Garbatella where on the 13 July we look forward to meeting students and their families on the occasion of the Open Day of the Faculty of Interpretation and Translation.
