AD System, founded upon initiative of former EDS Italia executives, has been providing software engineering services since the 90s mainly for large industrial groups in the Italian north-east (Benetton, Electrolux, Wärtsilä Corp., etc).
Moreover, over the past 10 years, we have designed and developed solutions capable of responding to market demands regarding digital archiving and storage of documents, often anticipating the evolution of Italian legislation.
Our offer is suitable for both medium/small businesses and more complex organizations that require specific customizations. Therefore, among our customers we often find very different realities, such as: Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Air Italy, Nidec Motor Corp., Italian Federation of Veterinarians, FIN Molise, etc.
Our commitment to the ongoing digitalization process
The ADS-Doc application, the heart of our system, supports digital archiving and storage processes with the aid of two components, perfectly integrated and communicating with each other:
The first is a Document Management System (DMS) based on the ISO: 14721: 2003 standard, also known as OAIS (Open Archival Information System), which allows you to organize the registration of digital documents, cataloging and indexing them according to certain algorithms and metadata that will facilitate the subsequent research and browsing processes.
The second implements the Technical Rules governing Digital Storage in Italy (in particular the DPCM 3/12/2013, the DMEF 17/06/2014 and most recently the “Guidelines on the creation, management and storage of IT documents” published by AGID and entered into force on 10/09/2020). This component provides interested parties (producers, users and administrators) with the tools necessary for carrying out the digital storage process in accordance with the law.
Our vision
IT documents, which represent deeds, commercial documents or legally relevant data, already produced today through IT applications, will increasingly be issued/transmitted in a standard format (such as UBL within the EU), which will allow the recipient applications to interpret and check the documents, to manage any anomalies and to automatically initiate new transactions and/or issue other documents. The exchange of these documents will likely use “4 corners eDelivery network” channels, such as PEPPOL, or similar systems, which will thus allow the implementation of true, fluid, safe and fast Machine to Machine (M2M) processes.
Our aim
Faced with the strong acceleration of the legislation evolution (Italian and European: standard EN16931, NSO, etc.) and thanks to the experience gained in the dematerialization of documents and processes, we aim at being key players in the evolution process linked to the transfer and sharing of commercial documentation. We are currently gearing up to rapidly become “PEPPOL Access Point” and to enrich our offer with applications capable of supporting customers who are open to quickly embrace the new paradigm.

Il nostro impegno nel processo di digitalizzazione in corso
L’applicazione ADS-Doc, cuore del sistema, supporta i processi di archiviazione e conservazione digitale con l’ausilio di due componenti, perfettamente integrati e comunicanti tra loro:
Il primo è un Sistema di Gestione Documentale (DMS) basato sullo standard ISO:14721:2003, conosciuto anche come OAIS (Open Archival Information System), che consente di organizzare la registrazione di documenti digitali, catalogandoli e indicizzandoli secondo determinati algoritmi e metadati che ne facilitano i successivi processi di ricerca e consultazione.
Il secondo implementa le Regole Tecniche che disciplinano la Conservazione Digitale in Italia (in particolare il DPCM 3/12/2013, il DMEF 17/06/2014 e ultimamente le “Linee Guida sulla formazione, gestione e conservazione dei documenti informatici” pubblicate dall’AGID e entrate in vigore il 10/09/2020). Tale componente fornisce ai soggetti interessati (produttori, fruitori e amministratori) gli strumenti necessari per lo svolgimento del processo di conservazione digitale a norma.
La nostra visione
I documenti informatici, che rappresentano atti, fatti commerciali o dati giuridicamente rilevanti, già oggi prodotti con applicazioni informatiche, saranno sempre più spesso emessi/ trasmessi in un formato standard, (come per esempio UBL all’interno della U.E.) che consentirà alle applicazioni destinatarie, di interpretare e controllare i documenti, di gestire eventuali anomalie e di avviare automaticamente nuove transazioni e/o emettere altri documenti. Con ogni probabilità lo scambio di questi documenti sfrutterà canali di tipo “4 corners eDelivery network”, come PEPPOL, o sistemi simili, che consentiranno così di implementare veri processi Machine to Machine (M2M) fluidi, sicuri e veloci.
Il nostro obiettivo
A fronte della forte accelerazione dell’evoluzione in tal senso della normativa (italiana ed europea: norma EN16931, NSO, etc.) e forti dell’esperienza maturata, nella dematerializzazione dei documenti e dei processi, intendiamo partecipare da protagonisti all’evoluzione che intravediamo nella circolazione e condivisione della documentazione commerciale. Attualmente ci stiamo attrezzando per diventare rapidamente “PEPPOL Access Point” e per arricchire la nostra offerta con applicazioni in grado di supportare i clienti che intendono abbracciare velocemente il nuovo paradigma.
